Frequently Asked Questions
We understand that navigating the insurance claims process can be challenging. With over six decades of combined experience in handling homeowner claims, we’re here to provide clarity and support every step of the way. Here, you’ll find answers to some of the most common questions our clients ask. If you need further assistance, don’t hesitate to reach out.
What is the fee structure?
The cost of our services varies depending on the complexity of your claim. Typically, public adjusters charge 10% of the amount they secure on your behalf. For example, if we secure a $50,000 claim payment, our fee would be $5,000. If you’ve already received a payment and retain our services for future payments, the fee may increase up to 25% due to the additional work involved. Alternatively, you can choose specific services from our Consulting Services Menu at a rate of $175.00 per hour.
Will I receive more money by hiring a public adjuster?
Hiring a public adjuster can help ensure you receive all the benefits to which you are entitled under your policy. With a professional who understands the complexities of insurance language and can accurately interpret your policy, you are likely to receive more than you would by handling the claim on your own.
Will hiring a public adjuster expedite the settling of my claim?
While we can’t promise shortcuts, hiring a public adjuster can make the process more efficient. With our extensive experience, we can help you navigate the claims process more smoothly, mapping out the most effective path from start to finish. As we always say, “We can do it fast, or we can do it right. We prefer to do it right!”
How does that work if I want to use specific services?
We will create a comprehensive strategy for your claim, covering all essential steps. You can choose to use our full range of services or opt for specific ones as needed. A retainer is collected when we begin assisting you, and payments are billed monthly based on the services provided.
What is your success rate?
Success for us means fighting for the best possible outcome for you, transferring the stress of the claim process from you to us, and using our expertise to negotiate effectively on your behalf. While we can’t offer specific monetary guarantees, we take pride in our high success rate, measured by client satisfaction and our ability to secure fair settlements.
